Founder and Executive Producer :: Deidre Turner-Johnson is the Founder and Executive Producer of The Romance Travel Guide. She has an extensive background in travel and broadcast journalism. Deidre has visited such places as Australia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Egypt, The U.S. Virgin Islands, The West Indies, England, France, Canada, Argentina, Spain, Morocco, Bermuda, Barbados, Mexico, and places all over the United States of America just to name a few. She began traveling at a young age when she and her family visited exotic destinations during her school breaks. Her work and voyages with travel agency, Turner Travels Inc., helped her grow a fondness for discovering cultures, exploring historic places, and meeting people from all over the world.

Deidre has also worked in the broadcast journalism business for several years. She produced for ABC News in New York City working for such shows as Good Morning America, World News Now, World News This Morning and World News Tonight. Also, she worked as an anchor and reporter in the South of the United States.

While on a spectacular cruise, Deidre visited Venezuela, Curacao, Aruba, St. Lucia, Barbados, St. Maarten, and Antigua. It was after this Caribbean vacation that she knew she wanted to develop a Romance Travel Guide that would explore the most romantic destinations in the world to help others discover magnificent getaways.

Deidre is a member of The International Airlines Travel Agent Network (IATAN).
